Garbage gate at Cuncolim muncipality

This is the way the chief officer of Cuncolim Municipality in connivance with a few councilors of the ruling group is harassing the garbage contractor Rafiq Raja Mulla ( one way – here is the letter by the contractor), withholding his monthly payments, here is one of the letter which he wrote in December last year to clear his payments. The Hindi speaking contractor was forced to get a letter drafted by someone in English so that his payments were made and everything was in black and white, the same contractor whose voice recording with the chief officer has gone viral on youtube video site.

Sub: Request to make payment of my pending bills—20-12-2016

Sir, I, the undersigned, wish to state, that I have submitted my bill of last 2 months, which work was carried out in the Garbage Treatment Plant as a Garbage Suggression contractor.

I , now find it very difficult, since the labourers are refusing to continue with the Garbage Treatment Plant because their payment has not been made for the past two months and this is the third month in progress.

The labourers are harassing me for their payments on monthly basis, if not, they are threatening to go back to their native place, hence, ensure, the payment of the labourers is done promptly without any further delay.

Also kindly request you, is please increase the payment of the labourers, since you are aware of the rising prices of essential commodities and other raw matrerials.

Hope you’ii treat this matter as MOST URGENT
